Watermelon plant help?
Thursday, September 24th, 2009I bought a kid’s grow your own garden kit from Home Depot containing a watermelon seed. It now has 3 fruits. The oldest and largest is 10lbs, but it is heavy for it’s size and the tendril closest to it is browning. The largest doesn’t have a ground spot because it was frequently turned. I forgot the brand of the kit (it came in a little red cup), and I don’t know what type of watermelon it is. Does anybody know the brand of the kit or type of watermelon it contains? Should I pick the largest one? I forgot exactly when I planted it but it was sometime in April.

Friday, May 22nd, 2009Hey, I’m looking for powdered vegetables. It can be ordered from the internet if the price is right - no more than $10 a kilo or so for carrots, say. I’m looking for broccoli, carrot, spinach, kale, sweet peppers, lima beans, tomatoes, green beans, celery, asparagus, and maybe squash, yam, collard greens, mustard greens. If you check out alibaba.com you can see they are certainly traded on an industrial scale regularly. Also, powdered fruits would be nice too, citrus, mango, peach, papaya….

What the hell is a coconut? Is it a fruit, a nut? or what? I think it is a fruit?
Friday, May 15th, 2009A fruit contains seeds on the inside and vegetables do not. Technically a strawberry’s seeds on the outside is the fruit and the flesh part is considered a vegetable. In the scientific world there really is no such thing as a vegetable only comes up in the culinary world. Vegetables are usually savory and fruits are sweet according to culinary terms. A cucumber is actually a fruit but we the public consider it to be a vegetable. One thing I cannot figure out is what the hell a coconut is. is it a nut, a seed, or a fruit?
